  • Lucca Petrucci: What If The Person You Want To Be Is Who You Are Today?
What if arriving to our passion place is realizing that we’re already there? What if the real destination was us choosing to connect to our passions in all we are currently doing wherever we are in life? What if our passion has been inside of us all along?
The tables turn in this episode as one of Lucca’s closet friends Lexi Bates interviews him about living in his passion place and what he’s learned about himself and passion over the past 13 podcast interviews and few years. Through this conversation and reflection, Lucca realizes he’s already arrived to the destination that he’s been “chasing”, that he is enough exactly where he is and so much more.
In episode 14, some of the many things Lucca and Lexi discuss are what’s consistently getting in the way of us reaching happiness and our passion place; how to find peace and gratitude in whatever season of life we’re experiencing right now and not in tomorrow’s plan; why we need to show up for us before we can show up for our community; the importance of building your emotional muscles like we build our physical ones; and why it’s necessary to take personal responsibility of our life in full.

  • Ryan Greene: How He’s Changing the Face of Medicine & Creating Something Revolutionary Through His Passion for People’s Health
For as long as Ryan Greene could remember, he dreamed of being a physician for a professional sports team. He knew his 12+ years of comprehensive schooling would allow him to achieve this so he put his head and went to work. Little did he know that his career goal would soon change. He began to first hand witness the professional and private lives of many doctors and he noticed patterns that didn’t align with who he was. He saw his role models working 80-100 hours a week, sacrificing their time spent with their family and friends; sacrificing their health and well being; and sacrificing what they truly believed in to follow a system that wasn’t getting patients well. He knew this life wouldn’t satisfy him. He knew he didn’t want to be another statistic facing physician burn out. He knew there were pitfalls in the medical system that had to be repaired so he took a risk- he chose to breakaway from the paradigm to fix these problems affecting people’s wellness globally.
He moved from Chicago to Los Angeles with a purpose that revolved around his passion- to create a way that people can experience their happiest and healthiest life disease-free so they can do exactly what they want for as long as they want and not be inhibited by illness. Fast forward five years later, through sacrifice, dedication and relentless pursuit, his mission is becoming a reality through Monarch Athletic Club, a comprehensive health and wellness facility with programs built on the foundations of movement, nutrition, recovery, mind, body and medicine.
In this episode, Ryan shares how he is changing the face of the medical industry worldwide; the importance of living by, “If it’s to be, it’s up to me.”; how doing something that has never been done (in any industry) can be scary but so worth it; the process of him coming to a realization that his dream job wasn’t really his dream job; and how each of us have the ability to create something revolutionary in our lifetime!

  • John Marino: How Sobriety, Epilepsy & His Unique Circumstances Have Brought Him Closer to His Passions
Instead of allowing his life experiences and circumstances dictate his future, John Marino wakes up each morning with a sense of gratitude and chooses to dedicate every day to community, fitness and service. Whether he’s at his job as a corporate wellness and citizenship advocate for a management consulting firm, spreading awareness for the Epilepsy Foundation, trying a new workout with the Ohana-Kane Project, a group he co-founded who’s mission is to build positive men’s community throughout LA, he brings his passions with him. “I don’t segregate my career and my outside life. It’s all one for me. My whole life is my passion place.”
In this episode, John shares the transformation his sobriety has brought him over the past four and a half years; how a full blown epileptic seizure changed his life and how he’s learned to appreciate his journey with epilepsy; why he believes greatness lives on the outside of our comfort zones; steps to conquer rational and irrational fears; why he’s referred to by his friends as the quote guy and so much more!

  • Dennise Petrucci Kwietkauski: Why Her Passion Place Isn't an Actual Destination- Why It’s the Little Things, Why It’s Connection, Why It's a Feeling
Through this conversation over the past few months, we’ve learned your passion place can be so much more than a career, a destination or an actual place. Our episode 10 guest dives deep into the thought that passion can be a relationship; it can be a connection; it can be faith; it can be the little things that bring you joy. In this conversation, meet Dennise Petrucci Kwietkauski, the very special mother of our podcast’s host Lucca, and hear how her unique journey, from a tough childhood to an unhealthy marriage to being single mom to marrying the love of her life, connected her to her passion place and how her way of life and who she is has inspired her son to create this podcast.
In this episode, Lucca and Dennise discuss how the emotional roller coaster of their relationship/circumstances has brought them closer to each other and their passions; how she naturally instills faith, kindness and love to all she comes in contact with by choosing joy day after day; the importance of a support system, especially while you’re on the path to living out your dreams, to celebrate the great times and push you through the challenges; and why she’s never let her circumstances dictate her future and why it’s necessary to make tough choices.
Tune into one of our most heart-wrenching, touching and vulnerable conversation thus far!
