Hey You!
Todays Episode is one I’ve been excited to share with you for a while now. We will be discussing the importance of surrounding yourself with a strong community of fellow believers. God did not make us to live life alone and isolated, God wants us to be apart of a community and form bonds with our fellow brothers and sisters in christ.
Personally, it took a long time for me to realize this. Mostly because growing up I was shy but I never let go of that and accepted my need and want to be a social butterfly, to be around people, to have companionships. I believe much of my “shyness” and self isolation came from past experiences, issues with trust, and depression. But as I continue to grow, heal, and walk my journey with my Heavenly Father I am becoming all that He made me to me.
I am walking in HIS WILL and meeting the people He intended for me to have bonds with, I am opening up more and becoming comfortasble with making strong connections with others that will help me along my journey and relationship with God. I hope this episode inspires and encourages you to the same!
“I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.” 1 Corinthians 1:10
“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” Proverbs 17:27
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: 10 If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. 11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? 12 Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” Ephesians 4:2-6
