Will five minutes spark a passion or create legalism?

If we believe and know that God is omnipresent, why do we invite him into situations/services? Are we inviting someone into a place where they already are? That seems redundant.

What if we don’t respond adequately when we hear of someone coming to know Christ? Why would we get more excited about buying a house, or getting married, than we would about hearing that someone trusted in Jesus?

2 Corinthians 5:17 talks about us being new creations in Christ. If that’s true, then why does sin and the old creation still have reign in our lives? Why do I still sin if I’m no longer a slave to sin but a slave to righteousness?
