Today, The Cats invite Josh Vergiels, the vice chair of the Kosciusko County Libertarian party, into the fold to talk about the movie: The Campaign. The Campaign, a satirical comedy with an all star cast. Marty Huggins (Zach Gallifianakis) and Cam Brady (Will Ferrel) compete to win an election by attempting to bury each other through slander during intense political debates while running for Congress in North Carolina.

Josh speaks with the Cats about today’s political rifts and the lack of representation of alternative parties, as well as libertarian ideals as opposed to republican and democratic principles.

The Helping Hands river float happened Saturday, August 19, right after the recording of this episode. Jody talks with Stefan about this non-profit dedicated to helping children with limb deformities acquire free 3-D printed prosthetics. Otherwise, the guys talk about the place of currency and how the dollar is going to fail, and a series of hypotheticals.

Speaking of bombs, today’s review is about the movie Oppenheimer, directed by Christopher Nolan, which follows the story of the theoretical physicist Julius Robert Oppenheimer. Oppenheimer was involved in the creation of the atomic bomb, and the origin of the quote “I am become death, the destroyer of worlds”. Besides that, Stefan talks a bit about micro-brewing and the shifts in its legal definition, as well as some of the roadblocks that prevent craft breweries from reaching the market. The conspiracy master leaves, and the rest of the crew talks about downtown Warsaw.
