Last year the locally organized Freedom Film Fest received more than 250 entries from around the world, then screened more than 50 films across six states in the country, including Singapore, Indonesia, Burma and Cambodia. The festival, first surfaced in 2003, is back with the theme of ‘Freedom’. Still encouraging entries, the organizers announce that the deadline for submission is July 30.
