Stephen Sims shares how his relationship with Jesus led him and his wife Rachel through a very difficult season of their lives when they discovered that their son Bishop would be born with a significant heart defect. In order to experience full freedom in Christ, we need to relate to others as God relates to us: forgiving and accepted. Recognizing what forgiveness is and what it is not is the first step to being able to relate well to those God has placed around us.

Our emotions are essentially a product of our thoughts. Measuring our emotions against the truth of the scriptures helps us to walk in the certainty of truth and not the fickleness of feelings.
