KINGDOM CITZENS ARE THE SALT OF THE EARTH.

For the kingdom people to become tasteless means that they have lost their salting function. They have become the same as the earthly people, with nothing to distinguish them from unbelievers. To become tasteless is to lose the distinction between us and the worldly people. It is to become the same as the worldly ones.

LIVING BY THE DIVINE LIFE IN THE SPIRIT.

Hallelujah, I am under the principle of faith, and I have the life of my heavenly Father within me! This life is nothing other than the Father's dear Son. I am now living by this life in my spirit and walking according to the spirit

The unshrunk/new cloth signifies Christ from His incarnation to His crucifixion as a piece of new cloth, untreated,

unfinished; whereas the new garment in Luke 5:36 signifies Christ, after being treated in His crucifixion, as a new robe.

The power that is toward us is the Triune [Trinity] God. This power is not only the creating power, but the power that has passed through incarnation, crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension. After all these steps, the Triune God comes to us as such a power. We need to believe that this power is now right within us.

The cross is not turning one's feelings toward others; it is not turning one's feelings inward or suppressing one's feelings. The cross is a matter of joyful acceptance; it is for a person to thank God saying, "The path that God has chosen for me is all good.

The Bible shows us clearly through this contrasts the fact that Christianity is not a matter of outward Rules & regulations, forms/procedures, methods, and ceremonies but a matter of the inner life. Christianity is not an outward religion or a product of the human mind; Christianity is an inward revelation and a religion of life.

In spiritual matters, it is useless to have teachings without feelings. Suppose a person hears that lying is a sin and an improper thing for a Christian to do. As a result he also tells others that lying is a sin and that he should not lie. But the question is not whether he says with his mouth that he should not lie. The question is whether or not he feels anything wrong within him when he lies.

The great power that operated in Christ has subjected all things under His feet. For Christ to be far above all is one thing; for all things to be subjected under His feet is another. The former is Christ's transcendency; the latter is the subjection of all things to Him. Here we see the subduing power, the power to subdue all things.
