In this episode, Dawn Baker talks with Harmony Smith, trial attorney and mother of five. Harmony has been on a journey away from the debt of law school and the typical professional lifestyle toward one of financial independence. She is currently working full time in a remote role while leaning into homesteading and her love of crochet. She is also a freelance writer and blogger.

Harmony's work-life balance is a work in progress, as she craves more time for adventures on her homestead with her family. We discuss her departure from the big law firm job, how she negotiated a remote position that offers her increase flexibility, and the steps she's taking to reach financial independence.
