We had the opportunity to speak with Brian Dobson at Metroflex Gym in Arlington Texas recently during Fitcon 2021. Brian has trained Ronnie Coleman, Branch Warren and countless others. Metroflex is a gym of champions, with multiple members competing and winning podiums in events all over the nation. We talked to Brian about how the gym got started, his struggles getting into the game so young, his training style, and his conversion to Christ after many years doing drugs and alcohol. Griffin from Chalk Llamas on Instagram took some time to come on the podcast, talk about his meme page dedicated to Crossfit memes, and explain how he even got started with Chalk Llamas. Tim from Gym Crafter stops by the podcast to discuss his practical approach to building a home gym. Tim started out like any other gym goer, not really motivated to do much of anything. Today we are speaking with Sabrina from Blessed Home on the Range (IG). Sabrina went through an incredible weightloss journey, losing 85 pounds through walking and weightlifting. She documents how, as a mother of 7, she found the motivation to lose weight when she discovered she was pre-diabetic and at high risk for other health issues. She now inspires women to weightlift and compete, and documents her fitness journey on instagram.

I stop by Adam's home gym to talk with him about Garage Gym Lab, the website entirely dedicated to reviewing gym equipment, from bars and plates, to racks and strength pieces. Adam does it all. His favorite Sorinex rack was there, along with a bazillion wall hung attachments, 40+ barbells, and specialty bars, and flooring that was specially designed for his garage. Quite the experience. Adam has a project in the works to help home gym users decide on the right gym equipment for their home gym.
