The parable of the Good Samaritan is a story to illustrate how we “love our neighbors as ourselves.” When other people need our help the most, like the man on the road, is when our love for our neighbor is truly tested.

In This Powerful Sermon Our Man Of God, Apostle Kwame Assanful Delves Deep In Giving More Insight Into Why Our Number One Priority In This World Is To Reveal The Glory Of God To People And Why What Ever We Are Doing For God Must Reflect In What Ever We Are Doing For People, And Also Why Giving To God Is Seen In What We Give To People.

The Parable of the Ten Virgins is a reminder to be prepared for the unexpected second coming of Christ, when we will face eternal judgment. The wise are prepared and ready for Christ’s return. The foolish don’t prepare themselves for the final judgment and will find themselves shut out of God’s Kingdom.

The ten virgins in the parable represent Christians. They are waiting for the return of Christ, the groom. The five prepared bridesmaids brought extra oil, which is the grace from their solid relationship with the Lord. When the groom’s arrival was later than expected, the prepared ladies were drained and sleepy. It was at this low point that their grace (the extra oil) carried them through and they were rewarded splendidly at the wedding feast, or the Kingdom of Heaven. Meanwhile, the unprepared five found themselves scrambling for more oil and ran out of time before they could be fully prepared for the groom’s arrival, meaning Christ’s return. The doors to the wedding banquet were closed without them, shutting them out of heaven. The moral of the parable is found in Matthew 25:13 NIV: “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.”

Forgiveness is one of the most fundamental teachings in Scripture.

Forgiveness’s finest moment is Christ’s death on the cross, where He sacrifices Himself so He can, in turn, forgive us for our sins. Anyone familiar with the Bible knows that forgiveness is one of its key principles.

When we constantly build our spirit by communion with the Holy Spirit, our mind comes under the influence of the Word of God and Holy Spirit who lives in us. We are left with the choice to think on God’s things or let the mind go with the flow of life.

What you feed your mind with becomes a mindset. A mindset is impossible to change without changing what your mind is filled with.

The only way to change your default and automatic thinking is by filling your conscious mind with new information of God’s truth. Once the conscious mind is filled to the overflow, it slips into the subconscious mind.
