Meet Jennifer Taylor – wife of Major Brent Taylor. Brent was raised as one of 8 kids and had a strong sense of Patriotism and love for America. He enrolled in the military after the 9/11 terrorist attacks and served in Afghanistan. Sadly, he was killed in action in 2017 and he is survived by his wonderful wife Jennie, and their 7 kids.
It would be easy for Jennie to say her family has served America and that it’s time for someone else to lead. She continues to raise their 7 wonderful children, but she is also an inspirational speaker, and advocate for the military and encourages the military to share their stories of sacrifice. She also set up the Brent Taylor foundation which provides scholarships to kids and next year is organizing an “honor flight” to Fort Benning Global War on Terrorism Memorial.
You can learn more about Jennie and the foundation at www.majorbrenttaylor.com.

Meet Todd Hansen - a shy kid who was bullied but refused to let that define him. He worked hard and went to college for a journalism degree and became the weekend anchor in Salt Lake City. Todd could have stayed there and had a comfortable job but was called to do something way more important.
Todd believes EVERY America has a story and wants to share those powerful “everyday” American stories. Todd started a show called StoryTrek where he would travel to a random town in America, knock on doors and ask those who answered to tell their story. For 12 seasons, Todd told those powerful stories and the most powerful takeaway - regardless of our political squabbles, the vast majority of Americans are good and decent people with a LOT in common.
You can learn more about Todd at his website www.toddhansenlearn.com or watch his old show at www.byutv.org/story-trek.

Meet SSG Shilo Harris - son of a Vietnam veteran and a hero who decided to serve his country after the terrorist attacks of 9/11. In 2007, his vehicle was hit by an IED and he spent 48 days in a coma, had 75 surgeries, has burns all over his body, lost his nose, ears, and 3 of his fingers.
It would be easy to feel sorry for yourself, but SSG Harris is an inspirational speaker who helps share a positive message about the military and also is heavily involved in serving his fellow veterans.
You can learn more about Shilo on his website at www.shiloharris.com or get involved in building houses for veterans at www.helpingahero.org
