Johnston just released his 9th studio album via Forty Below Records, titled Back on the Road to You, and this hour he breaks down the inspiration behind the songs, as well as a great deal of information about his life and his connection to music. 

Johnston recorded the album in Los Angeles with producer Eric Corne and invited friends like Aimee Mann, Susanna Hoffs, and Doug Pettibone to join him.Johnston has taken an unpredictable path throughout his 30-year career, and he’s here to share how it all went down.
