Act 13-38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins--Act 13-39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

2Th 2-13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth--2Th 2-14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Col 1-3 We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,-Col 1-4 Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,-Col 1-5 For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel--Col 1-6 Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world- and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth--Col 1-7 As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ--Col 1-8 Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.-Col 1-9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding--Col 1-10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God--Col 1-11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness--Col 1-12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light--Col 1-13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son--Col 1-14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins-

Act 13-1 Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers- as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.-Act 13-2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.-Act 13-3 And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.-Act 13-4 So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia- and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.-Act 13-5 And when they were at Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews- and they had also John to their minister.-Act 13-6 And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Barjesus--Act 13-7 Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man- who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.-Act 13-8 But Elymas the sorcerer -for so is his name by interpretation- withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.-Act 13-9 Then Saul, -who also is called Paul,- filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him,-Act 13-10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord--Act 13-11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness- and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.
