God remembers everything. If ever you are made to realize that every moment of your life is lived in the sight and company, in the hearing and presence of the all-holy, eternal, omniscient God, you will discover that life is serious business, because God remembers everything.

-And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple- and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.-And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things- verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.--And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be- and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world---And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ- and shall deceive many.--And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars- see that ye be not troubled- for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.--For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom- and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.--All these are the beginning of sorrows.--Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you- and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.--And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.--And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.--And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.--But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.--And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations- and then shall the end come.--Matthew 24-1-14

Rom 14-17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink- but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

My subject is FREE AND SOVEREIGN GRACE. It is set before us most clearly in our text -Hebrew 2-16-. - -For verily he took not on him the nature of angels- but he took on him the seed of Abraham.- --When our Lord Jesus Christ came to save fallen creatures, he passed by the fallen angels and laid hold upon the seed of Abraham. He did not take hold of the seed of Adam, but he took hold of the seed of Abraham, God's elect, and delivered them from the bondage of death by the irresistible power of his grace.

Act 8-26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.-Act 8-27 And he arose and went- and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,-Act 8-28 Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.-Act 8-29 Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.-Act 8-30 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest--Act 8-31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me- And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.-Act 8-32 The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter- and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth--Act 8-33 In his humiliation his judgment was taken away- and who shall declare his generation- for his life is taken from the earth.-Act 8-34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this- of himself, or of some other man--Act 8-35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.-Act 8-36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water- and the eunuch said, See, here is water- what doth hinder me to be baptized--Act 8-37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Rev 1-7 Behold, he cometh with clouds- and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him- and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.--1Th 4-16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God- and the dead in Christ shall rise first--1Th 4-17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air- and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
