There is one Man who ranks above all men. The Man of whom I speak, of course, is the Lord Jesus Christ, the God-man, our Savior. All the blessedness which we enjoy as the children of God in this world, and all the blessedness which we shall enjoy in that eternal world to come, was earned and purchased for us by the Man, Christ Jesus. All blessings come to us from the hands of this Man who is our God and our Savior. It is of this Man who is God that Isaiah was inspired to write in Isaiah 32.

1Pe 5-12 By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand.-1Pe 5-13 The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you- and so doth Marcus my son.-1Pe 5-14 Greet ye one another with a kiss of charity. Peace be with you all that are in Christ Jesus. Amen.

2Ki 6-1 And the sons of the prophets said unto Elisha, Behold now, the place where we dwell with thee is too strait for us.-2Ki 6-2 Let us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell. And he answered, Go ye.-2Ki 6-3 And one said, Be content, I pray thee, and go with thy servants. And he answered, I will go.-2Ki 6-4 So he went with them. And when they came to Jordan, they cut down wood.-2Ki 6-5 But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water- and he cried, and said, Alas, master- for it was borrowed.-2Ki 6-6 And the man of God said, Where fell it- And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither- and the iron did swim.-2Ki 6-7 Therefore said he, Take it up to thee. And he put out his hand, and took it.

How often have you heard someone say, -I wish I could undo the past. If only I could start over, I would sure do things different-- Such sentiments are usually expressed by those of us who are getting on in years. But, then, with a sigh of resignation, the person returns to reality and says, -but of course I can't-. Of course, we all know it is impossible to undo the past and start over. Or is it-----In ancient Israel the Lord God established a law that required a new beginning every fifty years. It is called -the year of jubilee.-

Rom 5-1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ--Rom 5-2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.-Rom 5-3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also- knowing that tribulation worketh patience--Rom 5-4 And patience, experience- and experience, hope--Rom 5-5 And hope maketh not ashamed- because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
