Freehub Magazine launched in 2009 with a focused goal of sharing longform journalism and evergreen content that lift up communities and accelerate interest in the mountain bike culture. 14 years later, this Bellingham, WA based publication includes an industry inspiring website, video production house, and a free regional publication to layer on top of the flagship quarterly magazine.

Founder & Publisher Brandon Watts, joins the podcast to shed some light into the wild west-style early years, the expansion into new mediums, and why they fold environmental initiatives, like using recycled paper, planting trees for each issue printed, and sourcing sustainable apparel for their merch, into their ever-expanding business model.
