Freeing the Ties That Bind [Releasing Others’ Energy]

[Meditation duration: 24 minutes]

There comes a moment on every awakening journey when we realize that love and freedom are not opposites—they are partners.

Too often, our deepest connections—partners, family, even those we wish to help—can keep us subtly bound by invisible cords of expectation, guilt, or fear. These ties once felt like love, but now hold us back from living as our authentic, sovereign selves.

This guided meditation that gently helps you:

  • Recognize the subtle energetic cords that keep you bound to others’ emotions or opinions
  • Activate your connection to your Highest Self—the inner voice that knows peace and truth
  • Transform those cords into fluid, loving energy that allows connection without captivity

Through this practice, you’ll learn how to remain compassionate and connected while no longer absorbing others’ insecurity or pain. You’ll walk your path in freedom—rooted in love, guided by faith.

This is not separation.

It’s sacred differentiation—the freedom to love without losing yourself.

Before you begin

  • Prepare your space and ensure you will not be disturbed.
  • Wear comfortable clothing.
  • Use an eye cover, if preferred.
  • Have a notebook/journal and pen ready.
  • Optional: Prepare a question for your journey. It could be anything you’re grappling with at the moment.
    • Note: It’s best not to ask a “When” question; in Non-ordinary Reality there is no “time” as we understand it.
    • Write your question in your notebook or journal.

After the meditation

  • Sit up slowly. Take a moment to return to Ordinary Reality.
  • Write whatever you remember from your journey into your notebook/journal. Use all the senses!
  • Consider how you might incorporate the offerings you received from the journey into your life, starting today.

Good luck, and blessings on your journey.
