We discuss what these sticks are and how they are acquired. We also share about how, on a systemic level, shame and guilt keep The Disconnected Domination Culture in place. We also talk about how understanding all of this is so helpful when parenting in different ways to the mainstream, when other people might be trying to hit us with those emotional sticks of judgment and shaming.
