We apologise for the break in transmission and no it wasn’t a Morrissey Terrorist group kidnapping us or anything morbid like such. We needed a breather and we are BACK and it feels so good. On this episode besides our excitement, we discuss the awesomeness of 80’s/90’s cult action star, Lorenzo Lamas(Renegade, Snake Eater trilogy and more), as well as the impact he gave coincidentally to mainstream comics and the culture of that period in the 90’s. We also recap the rad fun we had at OZ COMIC-CON, all the highlights and the fun we had with our own little panel that blew our minds and expectations. We are back and we’re RAD!!!

This John Carpenter masterpiece helped solidify the legendary director as a true force to be reckoned with in Hollywood and gave us one of the best action heroes in Kurt Russel’s performance as the clumsy and somewhat idiotic but hilarious Jack Burton. The action comedy blends Chinese mysticism with modern action in downtown Chinatown setting that lives on as a timeless masterpiece of cinema.

Man, ‘89 RULED for movies and around this time, there was a boom in underwater monster epics. At the forefront was Leviathan, featuring a sensational all star cast, this “The Thing meets Alien” monster epic was severely missed by many, but Jake an Jesse are here to spread the FREEKY word and get you on the page!

Starting with a huge fan appreciation of BILLY IDOL, which we could easily have spent the whole time discussing, we answered a fan request to examine….JUDGE DREDD(1995-Sylvester Stallone)vs DREDD(2012-Karl Urban). 2 criminally underrated films and we explore the highs and lows of each and ask why there is no sequel, nor tv series.
