1. If you’ve been through a mess, that makes you a messenger.  What is it that you’ve struggled through and overcame that you can help other people out in?
2. It’s time to not be shy and actually think about how much your services are worth.  If it’s higher than you currently charge, then come up with a golden day where if you get work that day, it’s only for that amount.  As your confidence builds, increase the amount of days you charge that.
3. It is important to know common pitfalls so that you can identify them and avoid them when they present themselves.  Knowing that two very large ones are needing to buy a brand new car on financing and buying a bigger and bigger house, what will you do to protect yourself if those urges come up?
