In this special episode, the topic under discussion is the Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC), to provide context for what the club is about, the process of becoming the lead, key takeaways, and a message for the future leads. If this episode initiates any additional questions about the experience of leading a GDSC at university, or with regards to how one can join and make the best of their experience, make sure to leave a message or a comment! Would be more than happy to discuss.
A little something for those who are yet to join university or those who have joined and have things they wish they knew before joining. University tends to be a diverse experience for us all - as we all have different goals and aspirations from what we hope we can attain from it, apart from the actual degree. These might differ from person to person, so if there are some things you wish you knew before university, drop some comments!
A lot of students tend to be confused about how to best use LinkedIn, or how to use its features to attain more opportunities whether it comes to internships or graduate jobs. This episode takes a deep dive into how students can make the best use of LinkedIn features to make their profiles more attractive. Once again, the discussion in this podcast is based on personal experience, so if any listener has more to say about the topic, make sure to leave a comment!
Taking the time to slow down within the rush of our lives is incredibly integral, especially with students with a decent amount of pressures, always being in a rush to accomplish certain things can take our enjoyment away from it. Moreover, this causes more stress and an eventual burnout that leaves us weary of the realistic beauty of doing nothing - I know I'm always anxious when I'm not doing anything and its one of the aspects of my life that requires ample amounts of assessment. Take care of yourselves, breathe, there's a time for everything.
