Tonight, on the Freeway to Elevation Podcast we were blessed to have Melinda Mihlbauer. Melinda is a Guidance Counselor and Program Director at Dorchester County Public Schools and PACE Scholarship Academy. Her commitment and passion for helping people identify and capture funding to go to school free is unprecedented. Residing out of the Palmetto State, South Carolina with a reach that crosses boarders. The PACE Scholarship Academy was established in 2016 and to date have helped 1,612 people earn full scholarships.
During the podcast Melinda talked about the importance of exploring scholarships in ninth grade. Her reference to Time + Effort + Support = Success is the blueprint to parents and young people minimizing stress on their scholarship journey.
Mrs. Mihlbauer explained to the audience that the Scholarship process is much more than just completing the application process. She reminded us that colleges look at students who participate in community service hours, are well rounded, who participate in extracurricular activities, like the Optimus Club, NAACP, Girls Club, and Nesbi. Melinda proceeded to talk about the importance of research, and obtaining recommendation letters on official letterhead to position yourself differently to obtain the funding you desire. The PACE Scholarship Academy offers Workshops, Boot Camps and OnePalmetto Scholarship and College Fairs virtual and in person. During these events they address how to do the Fafsa, essay, ACT/SAT process. They give away books, resources, scholarships, and laptops. They only charge the public five dollars for College Fair.

Today’s episode of the “Freeway to Elevation” Podcast provided the audience with the state of Crypto. Cueintin Cue Fisher the CEO of Eii Cue. During the podcast Cue shared valuable information about Crypto, his organization, the critical role his family played in his success, and how his so called failures, were the opportunities that changed his life. Cue’s upbringing in Los Angeles provided him grit, and ingenuity. He proceeded to exploring experience in sales where he flourished from a dexterity standpoint. However, it was his leadership and non conformity that helped to shape his exploration in building his crypto dynasty. Cue provided our audience with significant input about mindset, investment, algorhythm, software development that move people from surviving to thriving. Shaun has helped organization secure over 12 million dollars in grant funding to create sustainable business. Today the Freeway to Elevation was blessed to hear the powerful story of Rajuhon Jones Sr. road to dynamically impacting youth and writing his first book. This amazing conversation began with him explaining some of the challenges that are the reasons for the loss of human potential in disenfranchised communities. His humble testimony of liberating his mind and taking the action to change his reality, and drive opportunities for others, was him finding his purpose. Rajuhon’s book is Black Boys 2 Men. Today’s episode of the Freeway to Elevation podcast , features a brilliant and positive brother by the name of Chris B. Williams. Chris is a native Philadelphian that marveled many with his basketball acumen at Cardinal Daugherty (All City and All State). Chris went on to play basketball collegiately at Manhattan College. Presently, Chris is a broadcaster for Manhattan College’s women and men’s games.
This sports enthusiast and basketball junkie is an amazing role model for young people. Chris has leveraged his college degree in communications, and high emotional intelligence to introduce young people to the myriad of opportunities that are at their fingertips. Chris shared strategies and techniques to connect and orient our youth to their infinite potential. He equipped parents, mentors, educators and community leaders with functional tools to optimize their empowerment. As a Mentor, Public Speaker, and Energy Coach, Chris is always investing in young people and others.
