You did not stumble into this family by accident. God knew your history, your struggles, your shortcomings, and He still chose you.

This Sunday, the Word came straight from Ephesians 6:10-13, reminding us that our fight is not against flesh and blood. The enemy uses tricks and deception to make us fight the wrong battles and believe the wrong things about ourselves. But when we put on the whole armor of God, we are equipped with what God himself wore, and that armor has never lost.

Your standing is your worship. After you have prayed, cried, struggled, and done all you can do, God says stand. Whatever is fighting you right now, there is something in you, on you, and around you worth fighting for.

There are moments in life when everything seems to be working against you. The weight of your circumstances presses down so hard that it feels impossible to breathe, let alone believe. Bills pile up. Health fails. Relationships fracture. The road ahead looks dark and uncertain. In those moments, the temptation is to go silent, to pull back, to stop asking for what you desperately need. But what if the very act of crying out is the thing that changes everything?

God's Promises Are Yes and Amen

What do we do when we know God can move, but we are still waiting for Him to move in our direction? This message takes us deep into the space between expectation and manifestation, that uncomfortable but necessary in-between where faith is truly tested. Drawing from Mark 5, we walk alongside Jairus, a synagogue leader who approaches Jesus with urgent desperation because his daughter is dying. His expectation is not blind hope. It is grounded in evidence. He has witnessed what Jesus has done for others, and that track record becomes the foundation of his faith. The same is true for us. When we look back over our own lives, we find a trail of moments where God showed up, held us together, and made ways where there were none. That history is not just memory. It is evidence that fuels our expectation for what is still to come. The message reminds us that we are not in an end season but a yet season, a season where the promise has been spoken but the possession has not yet arrived. And rather than losing heart in the waiting, we are invited to stay positioned, stay close, and keep believing.
