Bring on Paris! The French Open has begun with Joel and Kim catching up on the first round of action from Roland Garros, whilst Chris makes the trip to Paris to soak up the sights of Round 2.
Joel and Kim discuss Daniil Medvedev falling in a shock defeat to Brazilian qualifier Thiago Seyboth Wild, Novak Djokovic courting controversy with political writings on the camera, and a barrage of women’s seeds falling early with former Champion Barbora Krejcikova, Petra Kvitova, Belinda Bencic, Maria Sakkari and Veronika Kudermetova all bowing out early.
Round one also saw easy enough wins for top seeds Carlos Alcaraz and Iga Swiatek, some unsavoury booing from the crowd over a refused handshake and only one British player fighting their way through to the next stage of the draw.
