   ...then, in the second hour, AGAINST AMNESIA, we'll talk with author and organizer JAMES TRACY, of the HOWARD ZINN BOOK FAIR.  Coming back this year after the pandemic, this annual celebration of People’s History and our common future brings together authors, readers, organizers and community members to debate and discuss strategies for a better world, in this era of attacks on memory

 a conversation with BEN GOLDBERG,  local and legend clarinetist, featuring and digging into his over four decades of music. expanding jazz’s frontiers as an improviser, composer, collaborator and pioneer of the radical Jewish music movement. Exploring his productive COVID-era practice of exercises and self-recording, and expanding into remote-then-in-person duos and trios, building the canon of Porch Concert Material , looking towards a new quartet formation, next week at SF JAZZ.   

   ...then, in the second hour, digging into the politics and dark economics of the massive world-leaders and CEO trade-summit about to descend on San Francisco, we'll talk with  TERRY VALEN and JESS ROJAS of the 'INTERNATIONAL MIGRANTS ALLIANCE' and the 'NO TO APEC COALITION', representing 150 organizations across the entire Pacific Rim.
