This week on Idiot of the Week, the competition for supreme foolishness is fierce, and—much like stupidity itself—it does not quit.
First, Delta Airlines, showing their commitment to innovative travel solutions, seems to be the airline of choice for pigeons. Yes, actual pigeons. Because when you think frequent flyer perks, you obviously think “urban birds just trying to get places.”
Then, we ponder a bold workplace stance from an Albany, NY news anchor who allegedly did not consider giving birth a valid excuse for missing work. Apparently, “labor and delivery” falls under the category of minor inconveniences rather than life-altering events.
Next up, a man dumped his girlfriend after her phone automatically connected to the WiFi at a hotel she swore she’d never been to. Is this the CSI: Relationship Edition or just a spectacular example of bad decision-making? The jury is still out.
And finally, proving that political maturity remains a myth, a New York City council member was caught removing an opponent’s campaign flyer inside a Manhattan apartment complex. Because apparently, we never truly graduate from middle school pettiness.
Who will claim the prestigious Idiot of the Week title? Tune in for all the mockery, all the poor choices, and all the necessary judgment.
