Haider Uppal, a rising electronic music producer from Pakistan, has quickly gained recognition as one of the industry's promising talents. With a blend of influences from Detroit's legendary techno scene and his Pakistani roots, Haider's evolving sound spans dub-infused textures to captivating grooves. Featured twice in Mixmag and supported by influential artists like Sasha and Lee Burridge, his original productions and collaborations on renowned record labels have propelled his global presence.

In 2018, Haider was in a creative headspace, drawing inspiration from renowned artists like Bonobo and Maribou State. These artists served as beacons of creativity and intelligent music production, guiding Haider's artistic path over the years.

Great songs often blossom from two complementary creative souls. The creative process of this musical gem welcomed the talents of @frouzan, known for previous collaboration with YokoO on the album "Nothing Can Compare," released on ADID. Frouzan's expertise added a new dimension to the song's evolution.

Frouzan embarked on recording vocals, amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the French Alps. This unique location infused her recordings with a sense of serenity, elevating its emotional depth.

Haider used these sounds layered with thriving afro grooves, creating a harmonious fusion of diverse musical elements & dream-like soundscapes

Fast forward to 2023, Haider revisited this musical creation. The song, like a cherished memory, first sketched in the presence of his brother, had been waiting for its moment to shine. With a newfound sense of purpose, Haider decided to release it independently as a free download. We are honoured that he chose Schirmchendrink to release this gem.
