First Lady Barbara Bush was an effective advocate to end illiteracy. And just hours after her death, Fresno State professor Randa Jarrar abuses her first amendment right to lash out at Barbara Bush and her whole family stating she hopes they all die, just like the 1.5 million Iraqis.

WOW! That's some pretty amazing words from a tenured professor who thinks she can't be fired. The president of Fresno State, just hours after the first attack on the Bush family, stated his disagreement with her tweets and they don't express the views of the university. But he added she has the right to express her views as a private citizen.

That's a great way to cover your butt. But is it enough? Many think that Fresno State leadership has not done enough. One thing for sure… Jarrar needs a lot of grace at this time. Remember, 'grace' is unmerited favor when punishment is deserved. We shall see how this all plays out.
