People like Jesus, but they often don't like the church. Even if the reason Christians stop going to church is legit, they're still not going. But we are still called to make disciples. Are you doing that?

Even with an awesome church with great leadership… are you making disciples? If not, there is a simple and effective way to get it done.

There are only three things needed to 'do church' and they're equal in importance. Here's how to avoid 'church' while still effectively making disciples.

Many people like Jesus, but they don't like the church. Books have been written about that. They get hurt by a pastor, small group leader or someone else… they hate the church asking for money all the time… they're sick of all the hypocrites.

The problem is - the call of the believer is to love God, love others, and make disciples who make disciples. The first two are usually ok. But that last one… it's a deal breaker.

Here's how to avoid 'church' while still effectively making disciples.

Ryan Fournier tweeted about Walmart's online "Impeach Trump" clothing. Not only t-shirts but even onesies. Twitter immediately blew up with over 50,000 tweets using #boycottWalmart.

Walmart quickly pulled the items from their website. But many Trump supporters are vowing to never shop at Walmart again. It was a third-party seller, not Walmart directly. Trump supporters need to relax on the boycott.

Walmart also has lots of MAGA gear. I think it was a slip-up that was fixed. What do you think?

What could have been a huge win for acceptance, tolerance, and unity turned into more of the same - intolerance.

Well, Roseanne Barr's rebooted show was the number 1 TV show in America. That's good news for ABC and the cast and crew of the show. Except… it's Roseanne!

She tweeted that Valerie Jarrett, former Sr Aide to Obama, was a Muslim ape. Jarrett, a black woman did not take kindly to the 'joke'... nor did anyone else. Barr was fired within hours and her cast and crew are out of work.

Some are trying to pin this on President Trump, including Tom Arnold, Jarrett, and most of the liberal media. Are the networks going to far… again?

President Trump was holding a meeting about sanctuary cities in California and how difficult it was for law enforcement to get MS 13 gang members into custody because of laws in place about sharing the information of illegals.

When the Sheriff of Fresno County talked to Trump about MS 13. Trump had harsh words to say about the heinous gang. And he did call them animals. But the media went nuts and lead everyone to believe that Trump called illegals (in general) animals.

The left went bonkers. CNN, CNBC, the New York Times and so many more lit up twitter and the television with anti-Trump rhetoric. And it was all based on a lie. Well, an enormous 'misleading' at best.

What has happened to our media? That's the issue. How are we to trust any media that is so completely biased in their politics?

Kanye has recently been tweeting about love and some fairly conservative concepts like, the victim mentality is not good… and go out and work for yourself… crazy thinking that like.

This is the guy who stormed the stage with Taylor Swift. This is the guy who is thinking of running for presidency. He's kinda a loose canon and definitely a free thinker. And that's great.

But now that his free thinking is leading him to a place of love and embracing a few conservative talking points… he's blasted as being mentally ill? And turning his back on his fans and those who love him?

First Lady Barbara Bush was an effective advocate to end illiteracy. And just hours after her death, Fresno State professor Randa Jarrar abuses her first amendment right to lash out at Barbara Bush and her whole family stating she hopes they all die, just like the 1.5 million Iraqis.

WOW! That's some pretty amazing words from a tenured professor who thinks she can't be fired. The president of Fresno State, just hours after the first attack on the Bush family, stated his disagreement with her tweets and they don't express the views of the university. But he added she has the right to express her views as a private citizen.

That's a great way to cover your butt. But is it enough? Many think that Fresno State leadership has not done enough. One thing for sure… Jarrar needs a lot of grace at this time. Remember, 'grace' is unmerited favor when punishment is deserved. We shall see how this all plays out.
