Not all of the Bible is meant to be taken literally, we're no longer under the law of the Old Testament, we're free by grace... But there are still many lessons to be learned from the Old Testament. In the Old Testament, the Israelites had many holidays that were in remembrance of something amazing that God in their lives... And we too can celebrate the things God has done for us!
