As humans, and as small business owners, we are incapable of doing it all and doing it all well. We need help and support. You can’t do it all and do it all well. It’s not possible. You will start overthinking, become frustrated, and maybe even resentful, and unhappy. Your productivity will drop and the frustration cycle will continue. You can’t do it all but God can David experienced great trouble, a lot of which he brought on himself because of the decisions he made. We can probably say the same thing about our businesses and how our choices result in having to backtrack or experience a lack of results. Maybe it’s a lack of mindset work that causes us to remain stuck in a rut. Or, maybe it’s a lack of action. It could be that we haven’t implemented the strategies needed to be able to be found by our soulmate clients – those who genuinely need us, and only us, to provide the solution they are looking for. No matter the challenge, the frustration, the difficulty, or the obstacle you are facing, there is always someone to go to. You can of course hire help – team members, coaches, therapists, doctors, etc. There is never anything wrong with any of those. However, there is one source that is free and can provide more insight and relief than any human you could hire. God. Verses 4 to 7 of Psalm 34, an acrostic poem written by David, reads: 4 I sought the Lord, and he answered me;     he delivered me from all my fears. 5 Those who look to him are radiant;     their faces are never covered with shame. 6 This poor man called, and the Lord heard him;     he saved him out of all his troubles. 7 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him,     and he delivers them.   You can’t do it all but you are never alone Here’s the thing with God. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5 and Deuteronomy 31:6). You can trust that He will answer your prayers, in His timing, which is perfect and limitless.   You may need patience, but you can ask Him anything. He wants to hear from you. Sure, He knows your needs and your desires, but He wants to hear from you. The next time you find yourself feeling overwhelmed, overthinking, frustrated, or exhausted while trying to do it all – family, business, life – you know who to seek. The one and only who will never leave your side and will always provide for you.   Reflect on Psalm 34 and feel the comfort of knowing that the angel of the Lord encamps around you. God will deliver you from the stress and provide the answers you need. Just ask Him.   You can’t do it all because you don’t know it all And remember.
