1. If you were to describe your current faith walk, which two words would you pick "stable or slipping"? What steps will you take after this sermon series for a reset?

2. What are some of the current dangerous doctrines we face in slipping away from God's plan for our lives? Can you name two of your current stumbling blocks that are leading to instability in your spiritual walk?

3. A wise person once said, "never let a stumble in the road be the end of your journey." After hearing this message what steps can you take to reset or rise after stumbling?

1. Recently we have witness the horrific events of Hurricane Harvey. Describe a time when your life was turned upside down from a horrific event? What was your source of relief in the midst of your adversity? Did this experience draw you closer to God or away?

2. It has been said that you can measure a man's character by the choices he makes under pressure. Give an example of how your behavior in the midst of a crisis caused someone to view your Christianity in a positive or negative light?

3. Give a person testimony of seeing the hand of God protect you in the midst of adversity? How has that experienced increased your faith?

2. You can be restored because of the kings commitment. (He has interest in me!)

3. You can be restored because of the kings covenant. (He will invest in me!)

1. At the age of five Mephibosheth was dropped by his nurse leaving him cripple. How has a painful childhood experience impacted your spiritual growth?

2. David could have easily chosen revenge for Saul's family, but instead was committed to kindness. Why does revenge sometimes seem like the wiser choice? Who is a person you believe God is challenging you to extend reconciliation instead of revenge? How do you believe this act of kindness will help strengthen your walk with Christ?

3. Kindness doesn't require a return. Do we usually show kindness knowing that there will be a reward for us? Think of practical ways you can show kindness this week, without any sort of repayment? How will this act of kindness demonstrate the love of Christ?
