3 Prophets 1 Message Part 2/2

We are in November and next month is December which leads to Christmas. This means there will be Christmas related events and get-togethers etc taking place in December.

There are still many people in this country who identify themselves as Christians and organize or participate in such events or get-togethers on religious basis. On the other hand, there will be many people who have Christian background but they themselves have lost touch with Christianity (for whatever reason), so they organize or participate in such events or get-togethers as a custom or tradition and some care only about partying.

Many of us (Muslims) will get invited to these events / get-togethers or we might know people who are organizing or participating in such events… therefore we should lookout for opportunities (or create opportunities where possible) and initiate discussions and share the teachings of Islam with our friends, colleagues, neighbours, classmates and relatives Insha Allah. A Muslim who is a convert (or whose spouse is a convert to Islam) will have many non-Muslim relatives. *So dear Muslims, let us prepare ourselves and be ready to fulfil the obligation of conveying the message of Islam to non-Muslims.*

These khutbahs are based on a lecture titled ‘3 Prophets 1 Message’ by Br. Abdul Raheem Green from UK which he delivered in Australia over 20 years ago. May Allah reward him immensely.

• Evidence from Quran and Sunnah to prove the importance of conveying the message of Islam to non-Muslims.
• Efforts of the early Muslims + the famous saying of Prophet Muhammad (saws).
• We Muslims have the TRUTH (in the Islamic sense) + we are not supposed to LIE (in the general sense), but many a times in real life situations, we fail to share, convey or speak out the Truth. WHY? *It is due to lack of courage and practice.*
• Examples of courage from Quran and Sunnah: The story of THE BOY AND THE KING, Prophet IBRAHIM (AS) & Abdullah Ibn Masood (companion of Prophet SAWS).
• CONCLUSION: With all that is going on in the World today, if we don’t try and achieve such courage today and if we don’t act upon it today, then when?
