Jesus will meet you where you are. It doesn't take a lifetime of religious practice or going to church in nice clothes to be saved. It's simply through faith in Him for the forgiveness of your sins. You're called to live like Jesus, which is showing love to the hurting and compassion to the lost. Jesus condemned legalism.
