I am afraid you do not capture vampires.
Welcome to my dojo, this is Kung Fu Pizza Party. in today's review, I am joined by author and podcaster Christian Ashley of Why I Don't Like to review the Hammer/Shaw Brothers joint production, The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires. Along with going over the plot of the film, we discuss why nno body tries to capture vampires, how in the world someone would even try to make that happen, and what our go-to melee weapons would be.

On August 18, 1590, three years after he had last been able to reach the area, John White discovered that the colony he had briefly governed was no more. While he had spent years stuck in England attempting to gather supplies, the people of Roanoke Island of what would eventually be North Carolina had all disappeared, the fort was in ruins, and two separate messages written on trees pointed to the Native American tribe of Croatan as a possible clue of their current whereabouts. Investigating further, White attempted to discover where the people had gone, but when the ship he had chartered suffered damage to one of its anchor cables, the ship’s captain ordered them away, leaving them with far more questions than answers. What had happened to the first English colonists of North America? Had they been invaded by a foreign power? Was there dissension from within that had led to civil war? Or is there a more paranormal explanation for what occurred in Roanoke Island?

This week, Joe leads the discussion for Christian as they tackle the paranormal hauntings around the Perron Family. While covered in Hollywood under The Conjuring franchise, the real case behind the movies is so much more in-depth and terrifying to behold.
Who are the Perron Family and are they trustworthy eyewitnesses? Are the Warrens reliable investigators? Are ghosts real? What does the word portal mean within a paranormal context? Is it wrong to seek financial gain once something supernatural has happened to you? What does it mean if ghosts are real? How does The Conjuring franchise hold up to the initial case? What paranormal experiences have Joe and Christian endured in their lives?
