I recorded this episode about identity after making the girls’ fried bologna sandwiches (with mayo and tomato…Tim McGraw anyone? No? Okay, cool.) and letting them eat Cheeto Puffs (Yup. That’s right.). It had me thinking about our identities, how we identify ourselves by the smallest granular decisions we make, and how those decisions often lead us away from doing what would truly make us happy. In this episode, I give you permission to eat a steak if you’re a vegetarian, stop hiking with your family if it no longer feels fun, and encourage you to step outside of your identity to try new things as a way to create a well-rounded person.
