In this episode, I talk about how to recognize when someone you consider a friend may be trying to use you—specifically within female friendships and social circles.
This isn’t about labeling people or assuming bad intent. It’s about observing patterns of behavior over time and learning to trust what your intuition is already picking up on. I discuss common signs such as one-sided effort, transactional favors, inconsistent communication, and friendships that only activate when someone wants something from you.
I also explain why I avoid diagnosing people or using clinical labels, and why I believe paying attention to repeated behavior is more useful than overanalyzing personality traits. Not everyone who attempts to use others succeeds, and awareness plays a big role in protecting your time, energy, and boundaries.
If you’ve ever felt confused, drained, or unsure about where you stand in a friendship, this episode is meant to offer clarity, perspective, and reassurance—without judgment or overcomplication.
