John 12:1-2
Living the resurrected life begins with an acknowledgement of our spiritual condition. We are dead.
It is also an acknowledgement that our lives are corrupt and decaying. In other words, life is not getting better but worse.
Living the resurrected life means hearing the word of Jesus Christ, responding to HIs word, rising out of our old lives of death and decay, and thus, walking in a new life unbounded by the past.
Living the resurrected life means that our lives reflect the light of Jesus Christ demonstrating to those around us that there is a better way of living.
Living the resurrected life means we will be challenged by the powers of hell whose goal is to draw us back into that life of death, darkness, and decay.
Living the resurrected life means enjoying a continual fellowship with Jesus Christ, which we will enjoy now and for all eternity.
Galatians 2:20
