Jerome Derradji is a producer, DJ, compiler and operator of the legendary Chicago label Still Music, and its subdivisions Past Due Records, Still Techno and Stilove4music. The labels have been going since 2004, and have featured stellar contemporary releases, deep dives into undersung labels and producers, and holy grail reissues. It's an honour to have Jerome jump on our final guest mix for the year. Here, Jerome shares a mix comprising current favorites and some absolute classics sprinkled with a few of his label's joints here and there. He dedicates this mix to Geraldine Hunt, Kenny Gino (Solid Gold Playaz) & Benji Espinoza (DJ International) - all gone too soon but not forgotten.

Anuraag is a second generation settler based on Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country. Their practice as a DJ is layered and improvisational, favouring hi-def, glossy textures, organic percussion and fluid polyrhythms, drawing connections between traditional and hypermodern instrumentation. It is an inimitable style that has led them to play for global institutions including RA, Bossa Nova, NTS, and Boiler Room, and support legendary artists including Helena Hauff, DJ Sprinkles, and u-Ziq.

""This mix is a live recording from a show at Sideway, a gorgeous little club situated on Ngunnawal/Ngambri Country. I played the middle slot between two DJs with a very different style to me, and each other. I wanted to bridge the gap between the two by matching the energy of the opening DJ then trying to disorient the crowd through a lot of tempo and groove switchups, so that when the closer began the 120ish stuff they planned to play would feel like a relief and draw the crowd together.

I had a pretty challenging time playing - I've been very used to local crowds that I know and trust to stick with me through my constant shifts in direction. I had a bonkers week in the lead-up and only had about 30 minutes to prep in the club. But I was surprised how happy I was with the recording on listening back, and think it gives a fairly accurate slice of what I tend to play out lately in a functional, club, party context."

Finest Wear is a producer and DJ hailing from London. Since beginning his journey in the Oxfordshire party scene in the 90s, he has had a few monikers, played many a room throughout the UK and Europe, and released records on a myriad labels. His latest is the Good Times EP, out now on Seren Dipity. He celebrates with an hour of deep dancefloor sounds.
