What is the big deal about the resurrection? Today, churches all over the world are celebrating an event that happened 2000 years ago. The Son of God came to earth, was crucified, buried, and came back to life! Regardless of your personal beliefs, you must do something with that information. For those who have trusted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, today is the biggest day of the year! Placing your faith in Jesus gives you the assurance that when this life on earth is through, you will spend an eternity in heaven. But what about tomorrow, or next week, or five years from now? In the Book of Colossians, Paul tells us that following Jesus Christ is essential for living well on earth. When trials come, there is an answer. When you feel defeated, depressed, or totally exhausted, there are three elements in scripture to help you cope. Could it really be that simple? If so, then it is at least worth a look.
