The constant highs and lows, demands, and frankly the people begin to wear on us sometimes. Emotional margin is perhaps as difficult to find as any of the others we have talked about.

Stress, fatigue, and burnout are the predictable results of living for too long without margins. We have learned as a society to prolong the suffering. To increase the time we can spend at our limits by using a temporary fix �€" coping. It doesn�€™t solve the problem or change the results it just prolongs the inevitable.

The Apostle Paul writes in Romans 7 about this struggle with moral limits that is deep at the heart of every person. It�€™s a struggle with boundaries, limits, and an enemy who�€™s sole purpose is to steal, kill and destroy. So why are we so bent on testing our moral limits?

AW Tozer wrote this in his book success and the Christian �€" �€œPractically everyone has too much, knows too much, sees too much, hears too much, goes too many places, and comes back from too many places.�€ It�€™s simply too much too much. So for all of you for whom life is just too much sometimes �€" this series is for you.

It seems that this idea of being the Friends Church is a much larger responsibility that we have understood. That�€™s a tall order isn�€™t it? So the remaining question to answer is this �€" How �€" How do I live this out in my life? How do I become what I am declaring I will be?

Paul pleads with the church to understand the gravity of the situation. The truth is that we have been invited by the God of the Universe to become personally and passionately involved in the only cause that will last through eternity.

If we indeed are the body of Christ �€" if we are indeed Friends Church �€" then we need to take responsibility for that. We need to understand that whatever the body of Christ is to the world around us is because of who we are.
