Join host Brad Whipple (@bradwhipple) as he sits down with Carrie Goldman (@CarrieMGoldman), author of the award-winning book, Bullied: What Every Parent, Teacher, and Kid Needs To Know About Ending the Cycle of Fear (2012, Harper Collins). Carrie is also a speaker and blogger for one of the nation's premiere adoption blogs, Portrait of an Adoption.
Carrie talks about her daughter Katie, who was bullied for being a girl who likes Star Wars nearly a decade ago but now wears her love for Star Wars as a badge of honor. Carrie also gives us a glimpse into her experiences with Star Wars, including a set visit, and we dive into the rise of cyberbullying on social media and how it has impacted Star Wars fandom.

Join host Brad Whipple (@bradwhipple) as he sits down with Madison Thames (@Madison_Thames), the host of Doing Talking: A Star Wars Podcast (@DoingTalkingPod). We discuss Kevin Smith's recent comments that the final shot of TROS will melt our minds (think Ark of the Covenant). We also dive into Madison's "ascension theory" and how it relates to Mortis, analyze the themes of rebirth/resurrection, define what it means for the Force to be "balanced," and we speculate how the final battle between Rey, Kylo, and Sheev will play out ( *clears throat* "ORDER OF THE PHOENIX-ESQUE!").
Make sure to check out Madison's podcast here as well as her art website here, which includes her award-winning piece, "Balance," which won the Star Wars Fan Award in Digital Art and Audience Choice (Visual Arts).
