Welcome to the RevSarahShares Podcast where we put up the bible reading and reflections from the Sunday service. We are continuing our friendship series with the last OT characters, namely David and Jonathon. I have surprised myself with enjoying this wee series and the different perspective it has given me. There are always underlying assumptions about where we might go and God never ceases to open my mind and heart.

This week I give a wee introduction to their story, Heather shares excerpt texts from 1 Samuel 18-20 although their story runs before and after. And then the reflection follows with a dip into generational characteristics, a realisation that Jonathan manages to be more millennial than Gen-Xer and that perhaps as Christians we need to be more than brothers and sisters in Christ. We actually should be friends as we cover Matthew 12 and bring Jesus into the mix as we should!
