1. shallow 肤浅 

大家认为如果Monica还是以前那么胖的话，Chandler是不会跟她约会的。Chandler反问 You really think I am that shallow?

Shallow 用来形容人就是肤浅。

Jack Black曾有部喜剧叫做Shallow Hal 《肤浅的哈尔》 很搞笑。

Monica: And what if I was still fat? (To Chandler) Well, you wouldn’t be dating me, that’s for sure.

Chandler: Sure I would!

All: (simultaneously) Oh yeah! Come on! Yeah right!

Chandler: What, you guys really think that I’m that shallow?

Ross: No, I just think Monica was that fat.

Phoeb的以为客户说他在股票方面很有一套He said I had a knack for stocks.

例句：

Low-key 低调的，也可以说low profile. 反之高调就是high key, high profile 

lowkey 第二个意思是暗地里，暗戳戳的

I lowkey like her. 我暗地里喜欢她

Joey: So Monica, still going out with Dr. Boring huh?

Monica: He’s not boring! He’s just-he’s just low key.

5. run into 偶遇

Ross在街上偶遇Rachel带她去见Monica, 大声说Mon, look who I ran into! 

run into = come across. 偶遇

Ross: Hey Mon!

Monica: Hey!

Ross: Mon, look who I ran into! 

Monica:  Oh my God! Rachel!!  You look terrific!
