On this episode we chat with Courtney Sechrist who is the worship leader at her church in Battle Creek, Michigan. Courtney is on staff at her church and lead worship once at Friends Summit 2018, but now she is going to be the main worship leader at each session in 2023. She talks with us about her approach to worship, controversial worship songs, being young at a church that is mainly people older than her, and koi fish! Overall, this is a great conversation with a young person who is actively involved in the Friends Church!

On this episode of the Friends Summit Podcast, Jacob (Northwest Yearly Meeting) and Katy (Indiana Yearly Meeting) talk with Josh Bunce (Mid America Yearly Meeting) about how he is going to lead a group inductive Bible study with 400 people while at Friends Summit 2023. This is a new thing that we've never done at Summit before but we are excited to try. Josh was the Bible & Theology Professor at Barclay College for over a decade and recently became the lead pastor at Friendswood Friends Church in Friendswood, TX. Since he lives close to Houston, he was an easy fit to lead this for us at Summit.
