A black woman with a love for chemistry, she has been pursuing her passion for the past 8 years. Now on the verge of finishing her Ph.D., she is exploring her next step in research.

K.D. Young and I met at his father’s church in Charlotte. That is where I learned about his love for track and introduction to music. He has gone on to sign fashion deals, flown out for projects, and has made a living off an industry most people think is a dead end. We met at UNC-Chapel Hill while pursuing our medical dreams and soon found out we connected in other ways.
