It is the big elephant in the room, the part of your 30s that nobody really schools you about besides your kindergarten teacher from almost 25 years ago! All of a sudden you are trying to recall all the social advice your teacher once gave you, the “how to make friends guide” that once seemed simple yet in your 30s it looks a bit more complex… or is it? You might find yourself in many different friendship scenarios in your 30s. Perhaps you have no friends (can we normalise saying this out loud?) or perhaps you can count your friends on one hand or perhaps you are a social creature and you have an abundance of friends. Let's talk about friends of a season, friends living abroad, friends who are in different life stages and friends of different ages.
