That's how picking the movie went this week. We're back after a two month break and Mike presented Mark with a stack of Halloween movies to pick from and Ernest Scared Stupid was quickly chosen.

This is a bit of a catch up episode, since the guys hadn't had a chance to get together in over two months, so updates on projects and life in general means that there's a bit more earnest discussion than Ernest discussion but it still makes for a great episode.

Mike is joined by creative director and musician Don-E Coady for James Wan's Dead Silence. Anyone who knows DC knows that getting him to sit down for 90 minutes straight is a pretty big deal.

While Mike keeps DC up to date on the movie the guys talk about big digs, road trips, playing in bands, and living in the setting of a horror movie.

Mike & Mark are joined by Chad Armstrong of Legless Corpse to talk about breaking into horror, film distribution, and oh yeah... Pet Sematary.

Mike and Mark are back and joined by author/screenwriter Chris Lewis Carter for Child's Play - a movie that apparently scarred Chris for life.

It just so happens that Mike & Chris went to college together but lost touch so this one is also a bit of a reunion of sorts! All that plus actual movie commentary and our thoughts on Marc Maron's IFC show coming to an end as well as a bunch of other random tangents!

Mike is joined by filmmaker Shane Leary (CryptTV's One Minute Horror) for the eighties classic The Lost Boys!

They talk about filmmaking, not hanging out when Mike was in LA, The Conjuring 2, Mike getting drunk in between playing softball and recording the podcast, and probably some other stuff.

In the first of what will be our Friday the 13th viewings of Friday the 13th movies, Mike & Mark sit down to watch the one that started it all - but spend an abnormal amount of time talking about Blink 182, Kevin Bacon's junk, Degrassi, Halloween costumes, and other stuff that I can't really remember because we recorded this almost a week ago.

Filmmaker Izzy Lee joins Mike and guest host Drew Byrne to watch John Carpenter's The Fog, while going off on tangents about Mike's bad writing, Izzy's good movies, how great Tom Atkins is, and how bad remakes packed full of CW actors are.
