After a quick recap of Maria Jose Marin's triumph at the Augusta National Women's Amateur and Lauren Coughlin's dominant win at the Aramco Championship, Tom takes the reins and takes us on a wandering and wide-ranging journey into the land of quirky golf rules. Red stake vs white stake? Dead snake vs live snake? Can I use a wind sock? What if I left my club on the last hole? Tom bares all in this outrageous episode.
For the second week in a row, the LPGA's final round comes down to a 2-player duel between Hyo Joo Kim and Nelly Korda, with Hyo Joo emerging victorious again! The guys break down how Hyo Joo won back-to-back events and successfully defended her Ford Championship title. Marc and Tom also react to Gary Woodland's remarkable win (and journey) on the PGA Tour, another Tiger Woods car crash and the weekend in sports before previewing this week's Aramco Championship in Las Vegas.
The guys recap Hyo Joo Kim's nail-biting win over Nelly Korda at the Fortinet Founders Cup. We also discuss broadcast enhancements, drone shots, pace of play and why Marc is HOT about the embarrassing Sunday coverage overlap with the men's Champions Tour. And after previewing this week's Ford Championship in Phoenix, Tom gauges Marc's tolerance for unwritten sports rules and bush league trick plays.
With the LPGA returning to the States, Marc and Tom preview the Fortinet Founders Cup in Menlo Park, the first event of the Tour's west coast swing. Then the guys are joined by 2025 Epson Tour Player of the Year and 2026 LPGA rookie, Melanie Green. Fresh off her first start of the season, Melanie shares about her tournament experience in China, her golf game and backstory, and how her faith keeps her grounded as she navigates a professional golf career.
Marc and Tom recap the Blue Bay LPGA, the final event of the Tour's early season Asian swing. Mi Hyang Lee survives a white-knuckle final round in China to record her first win since 2017. The guys discuss the rookies who made their LPGA debuts, share their thoughts on the Asian swing, and unpack Auston Kim's deathly fear of monkeys. Tom also provides an update on his quest to identify a favorite golfer, and creates a March Madness-style bracket for an All American LPGA team event.
With the LPGA season well underway, Marc and Tom recap the first two events of the Asian swing. The boys relive Jeeno's birthday week win in her home country at the Honda LPGA Thailand, and then turn their attention to Hannah Green's second win at "Asia's Major" (HSBC Women's World Championships) and Marc's takes on the TV broadcast. Stick around to hear Tom share about a personal milestone round of golf, and Marc's first round of golf in 6 months.
The boys are joined by LPGA winner, Olympian and Solheim Cup stalwart Madelene Sagstrom for a wide-ranging interview. Madelene shares how she started playing golf in Sweden by hitting balls over cows, why not being a "team player" helped in her golf pursuits and what it was like for a small town Swedish girl to attend LSU on a golf scholarship. She also breaks down how the LPGA has evolved during her 10-year career, the impact NIL is having on the newest wave of professional golfers and why the Wednesday pro-am is so important. She also provides some incredible perspective reflecting on how she has learned to believe in herself and have empathy for others over the past five years since she publicly shared about her own personal trauma.
Coming off her viral end of the season, Brooke Matthews shares more about the ace (her first ever!) that helped cement her place in last year's CME Group Tour Championship. Brooke shares how she battled imposter syndrome during her 2022 LPGA rookie campaign, and then how she shifted her mental approach and refined her game on the Epson Tour before returning to the LPGA last season. We also learn more about the newly announced "Brooke Matthews Junior Championship" coming to Arkansas later this year.
LPGA rookie Hailee Cooper joins the show to chat more about how she's preparing for her first year on tour. Hailee opens up about her roller-coaster golf journey, mental struggles with finding her place in college, and the support system that helped her rediscover her love for the game. Hailee is a breath of fresh air and brings a ton of energy to this interview - keep an eye out for her on the LPGA when she tees it up for the first time in China!
Following a volatile weekend of bad weather and even worse PR in Orlando, the guys flip on the mics for some immediate reactions to the LPGA's decision to cancel the final round of the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. We break down the facts and factors that led to the decision, the Tour's communication of that decision, the reactions from fans and players, and most importantly, what can (and must) be learned from it.
