Sometimes people or groups (like the governments of the world) hide things from others because they are afraid of what would happen if it got out to the general public. It could shake them so badly that society collapses or something. Things like aliens, reptilians, or other things that some claim that "they" are hiding. That the things we are taught in school is nothing but lies to keep us complacent and that the truth about what the world is really out there, on the fringes. That is where Montalk comes in with their special mix of "truths" the call "Fringe Knowledge" aka the stuff "they" don't want you to know. Also the matrix. And God.

Tonight on Extra Credit we find out the "truth" is hard to swallow (and also hard not to laugh at.)
